About the course
A follow-up volume techniques course for graduates of the basic lash extensions course. Today, volume lashes are what most clients want, but technically it is a completely different discipline from classic lashes — and it is a discipline where any carelessness is immediately noticeable.
You will learn to create fans with tweezers on the spot, rather than using pre-made fans. We will cover the entire range from 3D to 8D, and most importantly, how to determine how much weight your client's natural lashes can support.
What you will learn
- Creating a fan with tweezers — grip, opening, and the amount of adhesive.
- The 3D to 8D range and when to use each volume.
- Selecting lash thickness based on the condition of the client's natural lashes.
- Isolation for volume lashes, where sticking two natural lashes together is the most common mistake and the main cause of damage.
- Mapping the volume across the eye and working with styling.
- Infills for a volume set, which differ from 1:1 infills.
- How to diagnose why a set is not lasting on a client.
Who the course is for
For those who already master classic lashes and perform it independently. This is not a course for beginners — without mastering isolation, volume techniques cannot be learned, and the result would damage the client's lashes.

Can I take the volume course as a beginner?
No. The course is for graduates of the beginners' course who already work in classic (1:1) on their own. Volume cannot be learned without clean isolation of the natural lash, and a carelessly bonded fan will damage the client's lashes.
Will we make our own fans, or work with pre-made ones?
You learn to make fans with tweezers on the spot. That is the heart of volume work — the grip, opening the fan, and how much adhesive goes on the base.
What does 3D to 8D mean?
The number of lashes in a single fan. On the course we work through the whole range, and above all how to judge how many lashes a particular client can carry — too much volume on fine lashes will not hold and it loads the natural lash.
How long will a volume set take me after the course?
Your first sets on your own will take considerably longer than they will later — speed comes with practice. That is exactly why you can repeat the practical part with us for free at any time.
