Brow lamination sets every hair in one direction and keeps it there. It answers precisely what a brow gel cannot fix in the morning: brows that grow sideways, kink or point downwards. After lamination the brow holds its own shape and looks fuller, because the hairs, once combed into place, close the gaps.

The treatment includes a tint and careful mapping. We tint in an ombré or with a hybrid tint — lighter at the front of the brow, deeper through the body — so that the result never reads as a drawn-on line.

Who lamination suits

  • Your brow hairs grow in different directions, or they kink.
  • The brow is patchy in places, but there are still hairs there.
  • You brush and gel the brow in the morning and it has lost the shape by the evening.
  • You want a fuller brow but not permanent make-up.
  • Your brows are thick and need taming.

How the appointment goes

  1. First we map the brow. This is the step that decides the result — symmetry comes from the proportions of your face, not from a stencil.
  2. A lifting lotion goes on to make the hair pliable, and the hairs are combed into the direction we want.
  3. Then the setting lotion, which locks that direction in.
  4. We tint, in an ombré or with a hybrid tint matched to your hair and skin tone.
  5. We take out the strays and finish the shape.
  6. Last comes a conditioning treatment, because a lifting lotion is drying.

It takes just under an hour.

How long it lasts

Lamination holds four to six weeks, the tint three to four. Most clients come every five to six weeks. If your hairs are fine, it is worth giving the brow a short break between treatments.

Looking after them at home

  • Keep the brows dry and free of scrubs and oils for the first 24 hours.
  • After that, brush them daily with a spoolie — that is what makes the result last.
  • A conditioning brow oil at night is fine from the second day onwards; it will not undo the lamination.
  • Keep harsh scrubs off the brow itself, they fade the tint.

Before you book

  • Your booking is confirmed automatically once you pay the 25% deposit or the full amount online.

Frequently asked questions

How long does brow lamination last?

The hair alignment lasts four to six weeks, and the tint lasts three to four weeks. Most clients come every five to six weeks to avoid a noticeable transition in their brows.

Will brow lamination damage my brow hairs?

Not if the processing time is adhered to and a nourishing treatment is applied at the end. The risk arises from repeated lamination at excessively short intervals or from exceeding the processing time — in such cases, the hairs can dry out and break.

Brow lamination, or permanent make-up?

Brow lamination works with the hairs you already have — it straightens them and adds colour, but it does not draw anything on. Permanent make-up fills in brows where there are no hairs at all. If your brow hairs are simply growing in the wrong direction, brow lamination is the simpler and more affordable option.

Will the result look unnatural?

It should not. We use an ombré or hybrid tint, so the root remains lighter and the brows do not look like a drawn-on line. We will agree on the colour intensity during your consultation beforehand.

Can I use oil on laminated brows?

Yes, after the first 24 hours, a nourishing oil will actually benefit your brows. However, not on the first day — during that time, the shape is still setting.
