Brow shape and tint

Shaping with a tint is the basic brow treatment: shape and colour, nothing more. No lamination and no setting — the brow is mapped, tinted and shaped. It is the quickest and least expensive way to keep a brow looking cared for, and for a lot of clients it is all they ever need.

We use a professional brow tint in a shade chosen against your hair and your skin tone. The aim is not the darkest brow possible but a brow nobody can tell has been done.

When shape and tint are enough

• The brow is naturally full enough and the hairs grow the right way.
• You only want the shape tidied and the colour brought up.
• Your brows are fair and all but vanish without a tint.
• You come regularly and are after upkeep rather than a change.

If the hairs grow sideways, kink or need taming, brow lamination will give you a far better result.

How it works

We map the shape to the proportions of your face, apply the tint, let it develop, then take out what falls outside the line. The whole appointment is short — under half an hour.

How long it lasts

The tint holds three to four weeks; the shape depends on how fast your brow grows. Most clients come every four to six weeks.

Looking after them at home

• No scrubs and no brow oils for 24 hours.
• Brush the brow daily to train the hairs the right way.
• Do not pluck outside the line we have set — trim a long hair if you must, but leave the shape to the next appointment.
