Map and contact →Permanent make-up fills the brow where hair is missing and holds the shape for years. The pigment is deposited into the upper layer of the skin, so it does not wash off and it does not disappear in a swimming pool. It is not a tattoo in the true sense — the pigment sits shallow and fades gradually, and that is the point: in a few years the brow can be brought in line with how your face has changed.
We choose the technique to suit your skin. Dry and normal skin takes hair strokes, which imitate individual hairs. On oilier skin hair strokes blur, so powder brows work better — the effect of a brow lightly filled in with pencil.

How the appointment goes
- Consultation and mapping. First we measure the brow and draw the shape in pencil. Nothing is pigmented until you are happy with it — we take as long as this needs.
- Choosing the shade. The shade is mixed to your hair colour, your skin tone and its undertone. We allow for the fact that the pigment will lighten by roughly a shade over the following weeks.
- Numbing. An anaesthetic is applied, which makes the treatment comfortable.
- Pigmentation. The work itself takes around two hours.
- Aftercare. You go home with an aftercare product and a clear routine for the days that follow.
Healing and the touch-up
For the first few days the brow looks darker and heavier than the final result. Then a fine crust forms and comes away on its own — do not pick at it, or the pigment will lift unevenly. Once it has flaked, the brow goes very pale for a while before the colour comes back.
The touch-up four to six weeks later is part of the treatment, not a sign that something went wrong. Skin takes pigment unevenly; the touch-up fills what did not hold and fine-tunes the shade.
How long it lasts
Depending on your skin and your aftercare, usually one to three years. Oily skin and a lot of sun shorten it. After that it is refreshed, which is a shorter appointment than the original.
When we cannot do the treatment
I do not carry out permanent make-up during pregnancy or breastfeeding, with uncontrolled diabetes, during isotretinoin (Roaccutane) treatment, with blood or clotting disorders, with an acute illness or inflammation in the area, or while you are on blood thinners without your doctor's approval. If any of this applies to you, write to us in advance — we will either find a way round it or move the appointment.
Why the price says “from”
The price follows the scope of the work: filling a sparse brow is a different job from building a shape where there is almost no brow left. You will know the final figure at the consultation, before we start.

Frequently asked questions
How long does permanent make-up for brows last?
Typically one to three years, depending on skin type, aftercare, and sun exposure. It fades faster on oilier skin. The brows can then be refreshed, which is a shorter treatment than the initial application.
Does permanent make-up for brows hurt?
A numbing product is applied before the treatment, so it is tolerable — most clients describe it as an uncomfortable scratching sensation. Sensitivity tends to be higher during menstruation, so you can plan your appointment accordingly.
Why is a touch-up needed after a month?
The skin absorbs the pigment unevenly, varying slightly for each client. During the touch-up after four to six weeks, any areas that have not retained pigment are filled in, and the shade is perfected. This is a standard part of the process, not a correction of a mistake.
What do the brows look like during healing?
For the first few days, they will appear darker and more prominent than the final result. Then, a delicate scab will form and naturally peel off. After it peels, the brows will lighten significantly for a short period, and the colour will return over several days. Do not pick at your brows during the healing period.
When can permanent make-up not be performed?
During pregnancy and breastfeeding, with uncontrolled diabetes, while undergoing isotretinoin treatment, with blood clotting disorders, in cases of acute illness or inflammation at the treatment site, and when taking blood-thinning medication without a doctor's consent. Please inform us in advance if any of these apply to you.
Hair stroke technique, or powder brows?
The hair stroke technique mimics individual hairs and is suitable for dry and normal skin. On oilier skin, the strokes tend to blur, so a powder effect looks better. Therefore, we choose the technique based on your skin type, not based on a desired look from a photo.
