About the course
Maderotherapy is a massage performed using a set of wooden tools. From a graduate's perspective, it is an appealing service: it does not require expensive equipment, the treatment is in high demand, and the technique can be mastered in a single day.
The course is built on correct technique and ensuring the student knows what maderotherapy can and cannot achieve. The latter is just as important — marketing it as a weight-loss method is dishonest and will only disappoint the client.
What students will know after the course
- The individual wooden tools and which part of the body they are used on.
- How to master the strokes, pace, and pressure, adapting them to the client.
- How to treat the thighs, buttocks, abdomen, and arms.
- What maderotherapy affects and what it does not, and how to explain this to the client without exaggeration.
- Contraindications: pregnancy, acute inflammation, thrombosis, varicose veins in the treated area, and others.
- How to design a series of treatments and the intervals between them.
- How to advise the client on hydration and post-treatment care.
Organisation
- Duration: 4 hours (theory and practice).
- Minimum number of participants: 8.

- Location: we travel to schools, or the course can be held at our Prague salon.

- Price: the school price is significantly lower than the standard course price of CZK 6,900. Invoiced to the school or the students.

Do students learn what maderotherapy can and cannot do?
Yes, and we consider it a substantial part of the course. Maderotherapy is not a weight-loss method — selling it as one is not honest and the client ends up disappointed. The course teaches how to describe the effect without overstating it.
Do students need any prior level?
No, the course works even in the first year of vocational training.
