About the course
An advanced course in make-up for photography. It addresses what most make-up artists only discover after their first photoshoot: the camera and the human eye see things differently. Make-up that looks perfect in person can look flat in a photo — and conversely, make-up that seems exaggerated in person can be exactly what is needed on camera.
The course includes two professional photographs of your work, including post-production. This is not just a bonus, but an essential part: nowadays, you cannot showcase your work without photos of your results, and a portfolio is the main thing that sells a make-up artist.

- Which products cause white flashback under flash and what to replace them with.
- Working with foundation for photography — coverage and matte finish without losing the skin's natural vitality.

Do I need experience before the course?
Yes, the course assumes you have the basics of make-up. It is about the technique of make-up for the camera, not make-up in general — beginners are better starting with Professional visage.
Why does make-up look different in a photograph than in the room?
Because a camera reads shades, textures and shine differently from the eye. Some products turn into white patches under a flash; others flatten the skin until it looks lifeless. On the course we go through what to use and what to avoid.
Will I learn to work with a photographer?
Yes. Working with the photographer and the model during a shoot is part of the course, including touching the face up between shots and what retouching will fix for you and what it will not.
